Well, at least that’s what we’re predicting. On Tuesday, multi-platinum reggaetonero Daddy Yankee, fresh off the release of his new album Mundial, made his debut on the CBS soap The Bold And The Beautiful. If you missed it, don’t worry because his arc spans five episodes. That’s right: Five.

“Daddy Yankee’s hypnotic thump is the perfect intoxicating elixir to entice some of the characters into doing things they might not ordinarily do,” says Emmy-winning Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell. “The consequences for the Forrester family will be devastating, leading to some of the series’ most dramatic situations yet.”

Besides flexing his English skills, DY also uses the opportunity to plug his new song “Grito Mundial,” which is one of our unofficial World Cup anthems. Unconvinced? We only need to remind you that DY did break box office records in his native Puerto Rico in 2008 with his 8 Mile-like acting debut, Talento de Barrio.

Daddy, who has two movies in the pipeline (including Pleasant Avenue, in which he’ll play a boxer), is extremely excited about his on-screen career. As he recently told Terra.com: “Acting has become part of my job.”
